This is an exciting entry level opportunity in Kansas City, MO or Omaha, NE for an Information Technology Admin

Job Summary:

Provides operational support ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and availability of IT resources for end users under close supervision. Must work collaboratively with others.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is accountable for responding to all customer requests courteously,

professionally, and in a timely manner.

Must be able to work in an independent environment with remote supervision. Maintain a clean, professional personal appearance at all times, in

accordance with all company standards for professional appearance.

This role is responsible for providing preventative maintenance on IT systems and networks including but not limited to monitoring system performance and accuracy, performs root cause analysis to identify issues, monitor and executes help desk tickets providing thorough documentation of resolution, diagnose and evaluate hardware failures on business provided computing equipment.

Provide support for VOIP phone system as well as complete hardware, software, reassigns, and surrender requests.

Provide support for Apple and Android devices.

Performs IT support for assigned area(s) according to documented processes.

Diagnoses and problem solves issues with IT hardware or software components with direction.

May require ability to install, configure, or disposition IT hardware and/or application issues.

Performs initial troubleshooting of assigned issues per department standards and escalates if unable to resolve.

Uses Incident Management system to manage reported issues or requests submitted by end users and log any actions or support provided.

Assists with additional IT responsibilities as assigned.

Problem Solving – Solves problems using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Information Technology certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Experience:

Minimal or no work experience required.

Salary commensurate with experience plus bonus.
