Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Administrator to play a critical role on the People Operations team. As the HR Administrator you will help the HR Generalist and VP of People in implementing, organizing, and maintaining programs and processes. You’ll have an opportunity to use your passion for people and keen attention to detail to ensure that our employees have a positive experience starting before even their first day with DomainTools. From benefits administration to occasional event support, our HR Administrator dives in, rolls up their sleeves, and wears the hat that’s needed each day.

This is a full-time role in Seattle, Washington. Our offices are located in Belltown; and we are a remote friendly company. Going into the office will only be required occasionally to assist with events or handle physical paperwork.

Requirements

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Benefits administration and maintenance, including upkeep of the benefits systems and platforms and communicating all changes with finance
  • Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Process personnel changes and ensure proper updates of the HRIS
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute People Operations programs such as perk and benefit platform engagement, recognition programs, and culture initiatives
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of HR communications to employees
  • Assist the recruiter with pre-hire processes such as scheduling interviews and processing background checks.
  • Maintain a quarterly People Operations metric dashboard
  • Assist our office manager with events, as needed. This may include scheduling, assisting on the day of events, packing gift boxes for employees, helping employees with travel arrangements, and other tasks as assigned
  • Document HR processes and procedures
  • Assist the HR Generalist with compliance reporting as needed

Requirements include:

  • 1+ years working in a Human Resources Environment.
  • Basic understanding of labor laws and interest in keeping up on trends and updates in HR.
  • Incredible organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with team members at every level across the organization from engineering to the C-Suite.
  • An approachable, “can do attitude.” We are looking for someone who can be given a task and run with it.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite
  • Ability to sit at a desk, working on a computer for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs at a time when assisting with gift packing
  • A bias to action and enjoyment of working in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • A positive attitude and a passion for ensuring our employees are well taken care of
