Full-Time Head of Sales US & Canada

As the Head of Sales US & Canada, you will report directly to the Director of Revenue and be responsible for all of Edpuzzle’s sales strategies. In your role as the Head of Sales US & Canada, you will lead the Sales team by developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans.

In just a few clicks, teachers can turn any video into an engaging lesson, and then see real-time data to know which students understood the lesson. In this role, you will get to:

  • Develop, own, and meet or exceed annual sales targets and accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our customer base.
  • Have ownership of top-down sales.
  • Manage the Sales team by providing leadership, accountability, and training to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed set goals.
  • Assist the Sales team in identifying customer opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Understand the edtech industry landscapes and trends.
  • Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
  • Collaborate with members of the Marketing/Growth team to penetrate key markets.
  • Own key deliverables of sales compensations, commissions, incentives, programs, role changes.

Requirements

  • Proven sales executive experience in meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with Salesforce.

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS in sales, business, economics, or equivalent quantitative discipline.
  • 7+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • Corporate sales experience.
  • Experience leading teams remotely.
  • Experience in the K-12 education market within the US & Canada.

Travel:

This position may require travel to attend trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings.
