This new position will lead our global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy and implementation. This is a chance to assess a global company’s current state, through experience and data. From that point, you will set a strategy and objectives, work directly with our executive team and senior leaders to push that strategy forward, and finally evangelize, implement, and iterate on that strategy across every location and employee.

We are seeking an influential and experienced Diversity, Equity & Inclusion leader to partner with senior stakeholders, Employee Experience and Talent Acquisition to create and execute against a DEI strategy through groundbreaking programs. Use your skills to work both across the business, as well as deep dive with specific teams to help them create innovative DEI initiatives. Partner with the senior leadership team to design, coordinate, track, and measure our DEI initiatives and overall plan.

This role will work cross functionally across the whole company. The work will include assessing the current state, supporting senior leadership on DEI, building internal and external advocacy, shaping recruiting methods, standardizing interview practices, advising on where and how we market our roles and even products, and communicating our progress through analytics. You will also work with the existing employee resource groups to collaborate with internal allies in order to analyze and improve the organizational DEI environment.

  • Advise and build upon the metrics and processes that will help us measure progress and accountability related to DEI
  • Partner with employees and external communities to build an employer brand that resonates with a diverse pool of candidates
  • Build readily-consumable resources and programs aligned to business needs and company DEI goals
  • Bring innovative solutions to broaden our DEI portfolio and drive measurable business results
  • Create, maintain, and disseminate resources in a variety of formats across all levels of the organization
  • Earn trust across a range of levels and focus areas to establish yourself as a trusted Subject-Matter Advisor
  • Think big to identify the root causes of problems through an expanded, holistic view and long-term perspective
  • Connect and inspire people to drive effective partnership, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities
  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
  • Partner with our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to ensure we are amplifying and advocating for underrepresented voices

Your skills and expertise. 

  • Have the ideal combination of strategic experience, thought leadership, and a builder attitude
  • Proven success implementing a DEI program utilizing a strategic and operational DEI position and directly supporting the executive level
  • Proven success advising and influencing executives related to DEI
  • Experience serving as a leader with vision internally and externally, sharing and developing standards and elevating resources
  • Significant engagement in traditionally underserved communities
  • A strong understanding of data. A history of using data to guide and drive decision making
  • A Global approach, understanding of diversity within various global cultures and overall knowledge of global diversity
  • Influencing & negotiation skills with an ability to drive alignment across executives and peers at all levels in an organization
  • Record of accomplishment of fostering, driving and implementing innovative ideas with broad impact
  • A strong program manager—this will include but is not limited to: creating project plans, setting landmarks, delegating tasks, and tracking progress
  • Demonstrated expertise in using metrics as well as having an analytical approach to inform, influence and communicate. Measure the success of various DEI initiatives and keeping the company accountable
  • Maintain attention to detail and quality, while working with a sense of urgency
