We’re now looking for an exceptional leader for our D&A discipline, covering our market leading Data Strategy, Analytics (Digital + CRM / CX) and Media Solutions teams. The emphasis of the role is on product and team excellence that supports team and client satisfaction, client retention and growth. You will provide inspiring direction across our experts, who work within distributed, multidisciplinary client teams.

You will be an expert in discussing all elements of D&A from an operational, strategic and commercial perspective. Being a strong collaborator and communicator, you’ll be passionate about what you do, and comfortable pitching international brands one day while speaking at a conference the next. This is an integral role to the agency, and as such sits on both the SMT and Digital Transformation leadership teams, to both promote D&A and look for cross channel alignment opportunities.

You will be the senior point of contact for our D&A relationships across our clients, who operate in UK, EMEA and global markets. You will be comfortable working with senior Global stakeholders, having a strong industry profile and reputation.

You will question and evolve our approach to D&A, encouraging innovation and ensuring clients value and understand the quality of our services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Marketing Analytics Strategy (35%)

  • Establish your vision and strategy for both iCrossing and our clients
  • Ensure client proposals capture marketing data requirements, integrating data across channels/systems, surfacing it in ways that are useful to customer groups and identifying insights that drive marketing effectiveness for marketing campaigns and programs
  • Strategically guide the implementation of tools and platforms comprehensively across client digital assets, all relevant marketing channels, content types and campaigns to capture and surface marketing data
  • Partner effectively with the Senior Management Team to define “what good looks like” for D&A
  • Align with other initiatives happening across the global organisation
  • Advise and support the leadership team on channel-related topics including post 3rd party cookies solutions such as clean rooms, ID solutions and other targeting and measurement solutions for a multi-brand client

Digital Transformation (25%)

  • Prompt innovation across iCrossing’s tools and capabilities
  • Stay current on MarTech and channel trends (via relationships with internal and external experts, 3rd party research, benchmarking, etc)
  • Spark new digital marketing ideas based on observed data trends
  • Scale and enhance our  capabilities to meet demand
  • Identify and advocate the development of automation and innovation (through the lens of Media Solutions) that will activate data across a plethora of digital ecosystems – enabling clients and internal agency teams to make data the cornerstone of everything we do, from data and technology strategy, through to media activation and optimisation.

Team (20%)

  • Build, coach and manage a strong team of 3-5 experts; Establish a team culture that aligns with the overall business direction and aspirations
  • Recruit and train for needed expertise (e.g., automation, tagging, rule building, dashboard creation, data warehousing, SQL, etc)
  • Invest in the team’s professional development through skill planning, formal and informal coaching, and performance feedback
  • Provide advanced technical guidance to the team
  • Educate and train the wider iCrossing team on marketing dashboards, best practices tools and topics
  • Own the project lifecycle for marketing D&A projects, managing work-plans for team members alongside our project management team

Clients (20%)

  • Owning our senior D&A client relationships, working closely with our Client Directors to both retain and grow our client base, including supporting the New Business team in relevant pitches
  • Act as part of multi-disciplinary team to implement and deliver MarTech (i.e., a Customer Data Platform) for Global clients. Capabilities needed include, solution gap analysis, strategising integrations to media buying platforms, mapping AdTech and MarTech connections, leading the development of a media activation use case strategy and liaising with senior client stakeholders
  • Working with Audience Intelligence to narrate the story of unknown, and known customers for our clients digital and data maturity

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong understanding of business strategy and digital marketing
  • Significant professional business experience in MarTech, analytics, or digital marketing
  • Digital agency experience
  • Expert on the latest innovative and “up and coming” approaches, tools, platforms and channels
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills; able to influence senior team members and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly motivated self-starter with bias for action and strong teamwork, customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated passion for automation of processes/reporting using these tools
  • Ability to prioritise projects, manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion under tight deadlines
  • A proven ability to build, lead, motivate and develop a sizeable multi-location team
  • Participation in leading and delivering relevant pitches for New Business opportunities, supporting our New Biz team
  • Public speaking skills and the ability to represent iCrossing at major events
  • An aptitude for, and demonstrable history of thought-led expertise and passion for innovation with a desire to shape the development of the agency
