Full-Time Head of Contract Management

As the leader of the Contract Management Services (CMS) within Enterprise Sourcing Organization (ESO), this role will lead the delivery and oversight of contract management functions, including but not limited to, management of the CMS team, management of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process, partnering across all LOBs, ESO, Legal, and Compliance to support adherence with emerging regulatory requirements. Responsible for driving the simplification of operational process and automation of standardized manual processes to improve productivity and related contract operations.  Business owner for the SirionLabs CLM platform, which supports supplier contracting activities globally for BNY Mellon.  Track and manage policy violation across contracting process.


  • 18+ years of total experience, out of which 8+ years relevant work experience preferred in procurement and across the Financial Services industry.
  • Highly service-oriented, with exceptional interpersonal skills to facilitate communication with all levels of company management, across all business lines, and with suppliers.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple work streams, and have an eye for detail.
  • Must possess strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills in order to grasp complex problems and define approach/plan to address
  • Experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing a team tasked with delivering against goals and targets in a global team environment.
  • Business focused thinking with a strong hands-on, results-driven mentality combined with a high desire to work strategically.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to concisely explain and show ownership of direction / vision
  • CLM/SirionLabs experience preferred.
