Position Summary

The USA Triathlon (USAT) Growth Coordinator will play an integral role in ensuring the organization’s mission to grow and serve the sport, with a focus on the multisport core community – including Race Directors and Event Production Companies, Coaches, Officials, Clubs.  The Growth Coordinator will be a self-motivated, resilient, and results driven individual with a strong ability to engage and connect with others. Responsible for successfully implementing growth strategies and tactics across USAT’s constituent groups, the Growth Coordinator will proactively lead outbound outreach, including calling at least 100 potential constituents a week to inform them on the value of USA Triathlon with the goal of acquiring them.  The Growth Coordinator will also support other ongoing growth-related initiatives.  This role will focus on achieving goals and performance targets set by the Director of Business Operations and Executive Leadership Team will be essential to achieving USAT’s strategic priority to grow the sport.

 

General Duties and Responsibilities

Key Constituent Growth

  • Proactively lead outbound growth efforts to win back and acquire core constituent groups
  • Meet outbound call and conversion performance metrics weekly
  • Implement a comprehensive outreach, engagement and follow up communications plan
  • Develop comprehensive plans, including impact analysis, on new ways to incentivize constituent growth
  • Work within the Business Operations department and across the Marketing and Communications, and Constituent Engagement departments to solicit feedback and collaborate on new growth strategies, tactics, and resources
  • Proactively lead implementing all growth strategies, tactics and resources
  • Lead market analysis to identify new growth leads and opportunities for customer acquisition
  • Seek, foster and manage strategic partnerships that support growth objectives
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally with a focus in business management, sports management, sales, communications or similar
  • Sales and outbound call experience preferred
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • A team player with the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment

Additional Job Information:

Location: Colorado Springs, CO in a hybrid work environment

Hiring Pay Range: $38,000 – $42,000

This is a full time, non-exempt position.
