Everytown for Gun Safety is hiring a talented digital fundraising and production associate in our New York City office to assist with the organization’s sophisticated, growing digital grassroots fundraising program. This candidate will project manage and implement all aspects of our digital campaigns. We’re looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial individual who is ready to invest in building a comprehensive set of digital campaign skills and help fight to end gun violence in the U.S.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be an integral member of the grassroots fundraising team.
• Use HTML to build emails and landing pages within the ActionKit CRM.
• Conduct and analyze testing regularly to identify effective tactics, messaging, and formatting of email communications, SMS broadcasts, and landing pages.
• Create and draft copy for fundraising pages, including ActBlue and EveryAction.
• Ensure fundraising strategy is integrated into Everytown’s overall online program by coordinating across digital teams, including advocacy, social media, creative, and web.
• Develop and drive email list segmentation strategies to maximize email deliverability, fundraising results, and overall engagement.
• Optimize programmatic campaigns in order to upgrade and retain donors through specific donor journeys.
• Help manage Everytown’s national email and SMS calendar in collaboration with the digital advocacy team.
• Guide copy/content approvals with multiple stakeholders quickly and efficiently.
• Proof and assure quality of all national SMS, email, and landing page content before launch.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within a growing, diverse team.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates that can work from our NYC office.

You will have:

• 1+ years of digital fundraising experience for political campaigns or non-profit advocacy groups.
• A desire to work in a fast-paced, campaign-like environment within a growing, diverse team with unpredictable hours in rapid response moments
• Excellent project management experience and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional copy-editing and proofreading skills
• Strong communication skills
• Preference given to those that have familiarity with mass emailing software. Knowledge of ActionKit is a plus.**

The annualized salary range for this position is $58,000 to $70,000.  Everytown offers a generous benefits package including Medical, Dental and Vision benefits, PTO, 401K Match, Education Assistance and more.

About the Hiring Process

We are accepting applications on a rolling basis and will review them, and reach out to the candidates who meet the requirements of the position.

• Candidates that are moved into the recruitment process will be invited to meet with a member on the hiring team for a 30-minute phone interview.
• Candidates that are advanced into the next step process will receive a request to submit a copy of a writing sample and a brief skills test.
• Candidates who advance will be invited to a team interview – this will be a 45-60 minute virtual interview with members of the hiring team.
• Candidates who advance will meet with the Managing Director of Donor Growth & Experience.
• Final Candidates will meet with a member of the Organization’s Executive Leadership team.
