DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Global Planning Manager to join our team specializing in Supply Chain for our Cummins Emission Solutions Segment in Columbus, IN / your remote home office. The individual will work with our global site supply chain teams, collaborating with Supply Continuity and Purchasing. The individual will also be responsible for planning and logistics of the critical global suppliers and drive the allocation and important decisions to ensure the operations and customer deliveries are not impacted across the global sites.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Ensure internal and external customers’ expectations and requirements are met.
• Manage the daily operational processes for a critical segment of the supply chain.
• Eliminate potential supply chain failures as part of the daily planning process.
• Champion preventive practices to eliminate expediting to supply chain leadership as appropriate to prevent problems.
• Lead cross functional stakeholders to develop and implement short and mid-term tactical improvements. Prepare weekly summary and present in leadership review for any escalations.
• Comply with communication plans and processes to ensure stakeholders’ needs are met.
• Leverage common processes tools, and information systems.
• Approve system strategies and advise on changes to planning systems parameters as required.
• Analyze and interpret KPIs – On Time Delivery and Cost (Inventory and Premium Freight) to identify areas for improvement and action plans.
• Lead Six Sigma and functional process improvement teams.
• Liaise with functional stakeholders to mitigate mid-term supplier or customer constraints.
• Mentor and coach supply chain planners.
• Ensure common processes are being utilized and internal controls are in place.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• B.S or B.A in applicable field – Specialization in Supply Chain is preferred
• 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience with a Master’s degree
• Certifications CSCP, CPIM will be added advantage
• Project Management and Problem-Solving skills

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
