  • Conduct donor prospect and venue research
  • Draft correspondence to vendors and donors

  • Other fundraising support as needed

Given the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic, GLAD is offering virtual internships for 2021. The opportunity to take a leadership role on a project is possible depending on experience and hours of availability.

The ideal candidate will have interest in non-profit development, a passion for social justice and LGBTQ rights, and strong organizational skills. We appreciate attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions, as well as the ability to take direction, show initiative and follow through in a dynamic environment.

This is a part-time (15-20 hours/week), internship. A stipend of $750 total is available for interns who meet 200 hours during their internship. Time commitment is relatively flexible, ideally intern would begin in September and stay through December. GLAD’s office hours are 9am-5pm with the occasional evening or weekend event.

GLAD requires all interns working in GLAD’s offices, at events, or engaging in any in-person work on GLAD’s behalf to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Interns may request an exemption to this policy as a reasonable accommodation for religious and/or medical reasons.
