JOB DESCRIPTION

The Content Producer will consistently deliver exceptional service to our clients through excellent project management from brief to execution, with a specialty focus on messaging and content development. The person in this position helps establish the narrative flow for live and virtual programs as well as any video content required for these projects.  The focus of the Content Producer is to elevate the creative development experience for the client and the live/virtual experience for both the client and the attendee. This position is an integral part of our Event Operation team and is highly-client facing with contacts at the most senior level.

This may involve supervision of the wider project team to ensure that all work from creative concept to logistics and technical production, delivers against agreed objectives and exceeds our clients’ expectations. Flexible and adaptable, the Content Producer will not only sustain client relationships, but continually look for further opportunities to grow the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for leading and/or supporting the planning and execution of multiple virtual events and driving the content development process
  • Have delivered virtual events previously including webinars, webcasts and virtual conferences
  • Knowledgeable of the differences and limitations of various virtual event platforms
  • Manage, prioritize and oversee events from creative concept and development through initial briefing to reconciliation including but not limited to budget management, site selection, presentation development, video design & development, branding and graphic design, interactive/experiential technology, scenic/set design, décor design, staffing
  • Understand the client’s business and brand to effectively shape event messaging, agenda and content, both for individual events as well as overarching brand campaigns
  • Consult and collaborate with clients on key messaging to distill themes and craft an on-brand and objectives-driven event or video narrative
  • Confidently liaise with presenters of all levels including senior executives, both from within the client organization and externally, to shape presentations and provide coaching
  • Drive the content and creative development process with graphic and video design teams
  • Gather, organize and develop assets including the writing of presentation slide copy
  • Identify, secure and manage keynote speakers
  • Responsible for fiscal success of the program including accurate and timely budgeting and reconciliation of events
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Negotiate and review supplier contracts and addendums for accuracy
  • Maximize and monitor opportunities for increasing value adds, savings, and cost efficiencies
  • Actively generate business from current and past clients
  • Work with the team to ensure adherence to client and agency standards
  • Manage and ensure SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) are monitored and achieved throughout the event development process
  • Field questions and offer advice to team members to assist with creative problem solving
  • Be proactive with ideas and creative solutions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years’ experience producing live/virtual events and direct expertise in content development
  • Demonstrated experience with speaker management, presentation development and coaching
  • Experience with general sessions, award shows, activations and/or experiential events
  • Experience with virtual event production and virtual platforms
  • Highly creative thinker with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of digital, logistical and technical aspects of production
  • Demonstrated production and account management competencies such as: client focus, team effectiveness, developing others, attention to detail, flexibility, and delegation
  • Exceptional ability to establish relationships and maintain a positive rapport with clients, vendors and suppliers
  • Excellent working knowledge of the MS Office Suite, with Keynote a plus
  • Good negotiating, risk management and contracting skills
  • Creative problem solver, resourceful, team player
  • Calm and flexible approach to handling the pressure and stress of ever-changing demands
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • Proven track record of managing tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
  • High organized with exceptional administration skills and flawless attention to detail
  • Ambitious and proactive
  • Willing to travel when required
