The Financial Planning and Business Analyst I is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the organization. This position is also responsible for analyzing the organization’s financial and operating statistics as well as making appropriate recommendations, which will facilitate positive decision making by finance, management, or investors. The Financial Planning and Business Analyst I conducts ad hoc analysis related to monthly reporting and act as primary point of contact for distribution. 

What you will do to contribute to the company’s success

Interact closely with management in performing ad hoc analysis related to monthly operating results.  Receive and respond to questions from the organization related to monthly results.  

Track and analyze operational trends and variances; distill results to management and provide recommendations for overall operational/business improvements.  

Prepare routine reports (financial results, financial metrics, statistical, competitor, market share, etc.) for executives, management, and others; aid in the production of complete and accurate organizational profit and loss statements. 

Maintain a positive professional work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations. 

Assist FP&A team in the production of a complete and accurate 3-year operational and 5-year capital forecast. 

Assist FP&A team in the production of a complete and accurate annual budget. 

Assist the FP&A team in the facilitation of the Finance Steering Committee, which includes reviewing ROI models for accuracy and providing feedback to project owners.    

Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies.  

Takes on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization’s Values. 


Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college required 

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in Accounting or Finance preferred 

1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required 

Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities required 

Excellent analytical skills required 

Ability to assemble and deliver presentations in clear, compelling ways required 

Must be able to maintain confidential information
