DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Supplier Quality Improvement Engineer – Senior to join our team specializing in Quality for our Filtration Business Unit in Columbus, IN / your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Interact with global systems to collect and convert supplier performance data into monthly reports and ensure reports are accurate and published on time.
• Manage suppliers within assigned commodities, driving continual improvement.
• Manages the Production Part Approval Process – Coordinates the level of submission of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and information related to the introduction of new or changed products and processes
• Responsible for the execution of the supplier development process.
• Responsible for leading 2nd party supplier audits.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Bachelor’s Degree is required, engineering focused is preferred.
• 4 years of related professional experience is required.
• Experience with IATF16949/ISO9001 and automotive core tools.
• Experience leading proactive supplier quality projects.
• Experience using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect the customer.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
