This is an exciting opportunity for a Field Sales Manager in the New York, North New Jersey & North East Pennsylvania territory.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
• Responsible for Sales and Service at clients within an assigned territory
• Prospects, develops and captures new opportunities with large, complex accounts. Develops/Executes account strategies and plans to build customer relationships and achieve revenue and profitability goals within a large assigned sales territory, high complexity segment and/or complex market.
• Uses product technical expertise to assist in providing repair guidance to dealerships and customers when needed.
• Makes decisions on how to best utilize assigned budgeted funds to address service issues.
• Promotes, coordinates and conducts product training within assigned territory.
• Primary product responsibility includes transmission, clutch and PTO’s mostly involving class 8 vehicles. Situations, specifically around service may also involve and require familiarity with other components on class 6-8 vehicles. Examples include, but are not limited to: Engines, Aftertreatment Systems, Axles, Drivelines and other Power Train components.

Experience:
• 5-8+ years of relevant work experience required
• Experience may span Field Sales and/or Sales Management
• Proven experience may include: managing customer relationships, developing sales and service strategies, budget management, etc.
• Product knowledge of transmissions and clutches and may include PTO’s.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Must be able to travel in assigned territory that may be up to 40%+

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
• University or college degree in the field of Sales or Marketing or an acceptable combination of experience and education. MBA a plus but not required.
