Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and autonomous Field Sales Executive for diesel generator sets who will contribute to the further business growth by providing premier customer service and developing strong relationships with our clients.
Managing and expanding a valued portfolio of customers in the Netherlands and Belgium, this independent position sits within our distribution business unit, based in Dordrecht with home office possibility.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Manage customer relationships to achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within an assigned sales territory – The Netherlands and Belgium.
• Evaluate the markets, identify and approach potential opportunities to increase sales by identifying, contacting prospective customers.
• Grow and establish positive customer relations in existing accounts. Monitor customer satisfaction and create action plans for improvement where necessary.
• Guide and coordinate all communication and interfaces with the customers at all levels and provide individual solution & technical support.
• Support in the negotiation and implementation of contracts, including payment terms and accounts receivable deliverables.
• Improve understanding of customer needs and priorities to create opportunities to increase sales by identifying and presenting appropriate Cummins solutions with a focus on value proposition.
• Report activity via the Sales tool, produce sales forecasts, provide input to the overall sales plan, collaborate with key stakeholders to develop sales strategies and action plans to achieve optimum results by measuring, analyzing and reporting sales figures on regular basis.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Electrical engineering degree and existing sales and new business development experience ideally within the Genset, Alternator or any power generator related business are preferable.
• Fluent Dutch and very good English language skills.
• Must be willing to travel up to 40% to visit client sites.
• Natural relationship building skills with a desire to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Commercially aware with a genuine passion for the industry and the brand, growing the market share and increasing Cummins presence.
