Facilities Lead Technician
The Facilities Lead Technician not only shares the responsibilities and duties of Facilities Technicians, but also leads and mentors technicians while making high-level independent decisions. The job involves laying out facilities technicians daily schedules, coordinating with vendors, creating work orders and issuing purchase orders for contracted work, secures parts and/or materials to complete work requests on time, and helps with the facilities budget. The Facilities Lead will understand all aspects of building maintenance and construction and be able to troubleshoot building repairs and preventative maintenance for the facility.
Essential Duties:
- Performs plumbing repairs, electrical repairs/modifications, preventative maintenance including refrigeration system, cooling system, appliances, light fixtures, and doors.
- Oversees and provides necessary repairs to the building HVAC system
- Performs tasks common to the care of grounds and landscapes; Assist in snow/ice removal from walkways
- Designs and installs special facility projects when needed
- Maintains a safe storage environment for hazardous chemicals
- Performs necessary building janitorial duties
- Other duties as assigned
Education/ Experience/Skills:
- High School Diploma with one (1) to two (2) years of on-the-job experience and/or specialized training and education or equivalent
- Working knowledge and capabilities with equipment with multiple logic functions and capabilities requiring specialized training.
- Solid mechanical skills and abilities
- Solid working knowledge, skills, and abilities of HVAC systems
- Solid carpentry and plumbing skills and abilities
- Basic electrical skills and abilities
- Solid working knowledge, skills and abilities of appliances including, dishwashers, microwaves, gas stoves, garbage disposals, toaster ovens and coffee makers.
- Solid working knowledge of all building codes under pressure
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret procedures, policies, and regulations
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 80lbs., and carry objects weighing up to 47lbs up to 100 feet.
- Ability to push/pull weights up to 75 lbs. and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and boxes.
- Must also show fine motor dexterity.
- Demonstrate ability to climb stairs, stoop, crawl, twist, squat and reach overhead.
- The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.
Percent of Travel: 0%-10%

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Wage Range: $25.00 – $31.00
