Job Description


The EVP/CEO of AIA Oregon shall be chief executive and administrative officer of the chapter and ex-office, non-voting member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors. The position shall be responsible for the management and administration of the affairs of the AIA Oregon and shall perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Committee or Board. The position shall have full responsibility and authority for the chapter’s day-to-day operations, staff, finances, and related personnel matters, as well as oversight of chapter programming and events. Education: Minimum four (4) year degree in Business Administration, Association Management, or a field substantially related to design and construction is required.

Management and Administration: A minimum of five years’ experience and proven competence in organizational management and administration, including strategic and annual planning, financial management, and personnel is required.

Not-For-Profit Organizational Management: Working knowledge, management, and experience in non-profit 501 (c) (3) and (c) (6) organizations desirable.


Health, medical, dental. Travel across Oregon and to conferences in various cities across the country.
