The Application Analyst II reviews, analyzes, and modifies Billing/WFM system configurations including testing, debugging and supporting the organization’s Billing/WFM application systems. This position also updates rates and packages offered to best fit customer needs and collaborates with businesses to help define requirements.

What you will do to contribute to the company’s success

Acts as the point of contact for billing application and processes for order management, collections processes, and taxes/finance.
Works with the business teams to define requirements.
Identifies and documents processes to ensure best practices are being followed.
Works on multiple concurrent process improvement and long term projects.
Researches, analyzes and resolves billing application and operational issues by using Remedy, Oracle SQL and TSQL report writing and other multiple data sources.
Updates product rates as well as packages offered to fit customer needs.
Performs billing application maintenance and development tasks related to SQL Updates, Table Development, and related systems.
Creates process efficiencies and enhancements to increase operational effectiveness by reviewing, analyzing, documenting, and recommending changes to management.
Ensures maintenance and developments are tested in UAT environments and create necessary documentation with the guidance of Senior or Lead Analysts.
Researches, analyzes, and resolves billing and revenue assurance issues by gathering data from incidents, work order tickets, database reports, order management, one-off billing usage, monthly billing.
Supports process improvement initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and documenting relevant data, and recommend changes to management.
Supports the development of metrics to measure, analyze, and recommend improvement strategies on operational processes as directed by Management.
Assists billing application with configuration of new equipment on the billing application, changes to existing equipment, and provisioning testing as directed by management.
Performs on-call support after-hours.
Takes on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
Qualifications

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
An equivalent amount of experience may substitute for education.
Experience in a billing position or other related field
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Extensive SQL Query and Database knowledge.
Must be flexible and a team player.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups and organization levels.
Must be a self- starter who communicates effectively, has strong organizational skills and sound problem solving skills.
