| Job Description:Esthetics Trainer, Kohler Waters Spa Location: Chicago, IL Opportunity Our Kohler Waters Spa team at Lincoln Park offers more than 50 innovative spa services using the healing properties of Earth’s mineral-rich waters and provides an oasis of tranquility in the heart of a bustling Windy City neighborhood. Specific Responsibilities Include: - Serve as the department lead with weekly designated administrative time combined with service time.
- Supervise department staff – this includes performance feedback, goal setting, training and retraining, department staff meetings, and associate communication.
- Help manage schedules/appointments of associates.
- Conduct interviews, onboard new associates, conduct 90-day and annual performance reviews, and effectively performance manage associates.
- Assist in managing the department budget by providing data, reports, and documentation.
- Set sales goals for respective department and associates to help drive revenue in retail.
- When providing services, operate at or above Level 5 Therapist expectations.
- Ensure all associates are meeting or exceeding the standards and expectations of their assigned roles.
- Serve on the Operations Team and participate in management training sessions and outside educational opportunities.
- Responsibility of administration tasks are 20-25% of role and performing services are the remainder of 75-80% of role.
This is a part time position with benefits, working between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm, weekdays and weekends. Skills/Requirements - State of Illinois Esthetician License Required
- Self-motivated with strong written/verbal skills
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and computer skills required
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train and develop others
