DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages conflict – Handling conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise.
• Statistical Foundations – Applies foundational statistical concepts required to run appropriate statistical tests and ensure the quality of data and correctness of the conclusions by using standard practices, choosing the right sample size, confidence level, level of significance, type of test; applies knowledge of statistics in cleansing or modeling such as outlier detection, survival analysis, time series, rank statistics, imputation, probability distribution fitting among many techniques.

Qualifications-External Skills
• Problem Solving – Solves problems using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.
• Advanced Product Quality Planning – Leads the technical quality planning and ensures customer satisfaction through structured and measurable processes as defined by industry standard.
• Product Problem Solving – Solves product problems using a process that protects the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; and identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree in required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
Leads the RMEP Engine Quality Audit (EQA) process. This includes coaching a team of technicians to test and tear down engines to assess the overall quality of current production engines. In the spirit of continuous improvement, it is expected that this individual will make appropriate process changes to ensure effectiveness of the process.

Sets engine production test specs. Most of this activity will fall within the VPI process to test prototype engines. However, there may be various needs to refine current product test specs.

Provides input to production test cell upgrades which includes involvement in Advanced Functional Test (AFT) throughout the process of implementation. May also include driving improvements to AcE test cells based on test cell assessments.
