A Fortune 100 client on Upwork, has posted a job on our website seeking individuals with exceptional customer service skills. This will be remote work and successful candidates will be employed by Upwork’s staffing partner.

 

Use your valuable leadership, teamwork, problem solving, and decision-making skill set to assist customers with their technical questions and issues. Training is provided if you have no previous technical support experience.

 

Responsibilities

As an entry level Customer Support professional, you will create customer delight through thoughtful, compassionate, and efficient communication.

  • Deliver high quality interactions with users through phone and email.
  • Resolve user issues (tickets) concerning Microsoft 365 software with a given knowledge base around usage or administration of Microsoft 365 products and services
  • Inspire brand loyalty and create Microsoft fans among customers by exemplifying the client’s values.

Qualifications

  • Past experience in any role that dealt with customers or people.
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.
  • Microsoft 365 experience or technical background is preferred (may provide training depending on experience) 
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Willing to upskill and learn.
  • Ability to start immediately and to provide availability for each day for a specific set of hours.
  • Located in the United States.
  • Windows 10 Pro installed.
  • Reliable computer hardware and software. 
    • Minimum of 8 GB ram
    • Core i3 processor 
    • Minimum of 256 GB hard disk
  • Reliable internet connection and power. Minimum of 10 Mbps internet connection.
  • Workspace conducive to productivity.
  • A headset (noise cancellation is preferred) with a microphone to be able to talk to the customers.

Benefits

Flexible schedule; 20 hours a week or 40 hours a week is preferred but other shifts are available.
