LOCATION: This job is fully remote eligible within the United States. If located in Jacksonville, FL, some onsite may be required.


Leads Program Management Office (PMO) operations and is responsible for prioritizing work; staffing and coaching a team of skilled Project and Program Management professionals; and plann ing and implementing highly complex technical and non-technical programs to meet organizational goals. Serve as a member of the central PPM governing body to review/audit adherence to methodologies, budgets, and timing. Accountable for providing Program and Project Management (PPM) expertise, PPM support, team and individual PPM development opportunities, and oversight of Black Knight’s enterprise-wide programs and projects.

The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) houses Program and Project Managers who support enterprise wide strategic business and information system projects involving technology integration, infrastructure environment build-out, information security, risk, ERP implementations, software development and integration of Black Knight acquisitions.


  • Defines, communicates, and executes the vision and strategies for effective Program and Project Management across the enterprise.
  • Defines and develops Program management best practices, processes and policy, to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals.
  • Partners with multi-departmental leadership and other stakeholders to develop methodology and prioritize projects according to relevant measurement criteria.
  • Maintains the efficiency of key aspects of Program/Project Management process including planning, scheduling, budget and risk management.
  • Manages and leads the program/project managers and or support staff to ensure that all projects within the scope of the EPMO are delivered to achieve benefits realization.
  • Owns governance process for the project portfolio including reporting effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Coaches to clarify assignments and deliverables; mentor others in project management practices; review quality of work and manages integration of team members’ work.
  • Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns PMs to project roles.
  • Manages project risks, issues, and activity progress to ensure project goals are achieved. Escalation point for problem resolution or risk mitigation, as needed.
  • Manages relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients and vendors, keeping the stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.
  • Directly manages employees assigned to specific projects. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Focuses on continuous improvement, identifying project management coordination gaps and opportunities. Recommends, and implements solutions.
  • May assume Program Manager Role for high profile strategic projects. Directly leads the program management of a specific initiative or a set of initiatives from initiation through delivery, as determined by the priority and/or overall strategic impact of the initiative.
  • Manages a staff of 11+ supporting enterprise wide projects and initiatives.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or active pursuit of certification preferred.

Other PMI certifications such as Program Management Professional (PgMP), Portfolio Management Professional (PfPM) OR PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) may also be considered.


  • Strong technical program/project management background is required
  • Experience managing technical infrastructure programs and/or projects highly preferred (i.e. O365, Data Center, networking, Database, Cloud, InfoSec, System Implementations)
  • Experience managing technical projects surrounding mergers and acquisitions a plus
  • Successful track record of leading, coaching, and mentoring project professionals
  • Ability to manage multiple enterprise level/high traffic projects, meet deadlines, interface with different company business units and work in a fast-paced technology driven environment
  • Extensive, demonstrated experience in effective program management
  • Extensive knowledge of program and project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
  • Knowledge of the industry project management best practices
  • Knowledge of financial services or fintech industry preferred
  • Knowledge of standards relevant to the financial services industry a plus
  • Advanced skill in the use of project management software to manage projects
  • Experience working in an agile environment a plus
  • Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines
  • Skilled in the use of negotiation techniques to reach agreement when there are widely-differing viewpoints
  • Exceptional analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients
  • Ability to set clear expectations; manage team performance and build high morale among team members
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature


Senior managerial role. Expert knowledge of project/program management. Oversees the work of all Project Management Office personnel and has ownership of the resulting quality of each project. Collaborates with other department managers and is responsible for timely and accurate project status reporting to executive sponsors and the executive leadership team. Directly responsible for managing a staff of six or more direct reports, including primarily managers/senior managers and may include some senior-level individual contributors. Manages eighty or more overall subordinates. Works closely with executives on departmental issues. Has very wide latitude for decision-making. Typically requires fifteen (15) or more years of work experience managing multiple enterprise-wide projects and at least five (5) years of experience of leadership responsibility for large functions. Advanced Degree and/or Project Management Professional (PM P) certification or active pursuit of certification preferred. Other PMI certifications such as Program Management Professional (PgMP), Portfolio Management Professional (PfPM) OR PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) may also be considered.
