Full-Time Engine Business Unit Internal Communications Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Communications Manager to join our Engine business communications team representing our highest grossing revenue business. This role is 100% remote and based in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will be expected to travel to Columbus, IN twice a month, quarterly and/or as needed.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Setting and executing strategic communication plans while working closely with senior stakeholders and providing full communication support to the Engine Business Unit President and collaborating with other staff to align messaging to create and optimize communication opportunities for the Engine Business unit across the company

* Utilizing creative communication design while applying the appropriate tools and media types to create effective, high-quality visual and experiential content

* Prioritizing tasks based on the overall impact to the Engine business, while maintaining the flexibility to manage impromptu requests

* Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders while building strong relationships in order to gain buy in, insight and alignment

* Taking creative initiative to research and understand the latest trends in the communications space and how they could be applied to meet communications objectives

* Utilizing data analytics and a data driven approach, regularly pulling metrics and interpreting information on current tactics or recommending or evaluating new communications tactics

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* University, or equivalent degree in communications, journalism, or a related subject required. MBA, Master’s in Communications, Master’s in Marketing, or equivalent degree highly preferred.

* Strong writing skills with the ability to optimize content, interpret and simplify complex technical topics for a broader audience, while utilizing AP writing style in all communications

* Strong skills in graphic design, and visual communications with the ability to convey information graphically via PowerPoint slides, HTML emails, infographics etc, utilizing various digital media outlets

* Strong data driven analytics skills within digital media, with the ability to leverage current and emerging digital media strategies to influence target audiences to a desired action

* Global B2B experience highly desirable

 

Compensation and Benefits

 

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
