At our Mississauga site in Canada, Cummins is developing innovative electrolyzer technologies that can generate hydrogen for various applications with zero emissions – contributing to a safe and healthy environment for future generations.

We have a diverse team of engineers dedicated to the development of existing and future products for customers on a global scale. We are currently looking for a Electrical CAD Designer to join the team.

We have a thrilling new product development pipeline that includes medium and large-scale platforms for both PEM (HyLYZER) and Alkaline (HySTAT) technologies. Expect to be part of a dynamic environment, where you collaborate to develop the next generation of Hydrogen electrolyzers.

Your impact with include;
• Supports both the power distribution and the I&C specialists inside the electrical engineering team
• Communicates efficiently with all engineering teams to maintain project flow.
• Produces the electrical wiring schematics for power and I&C of our product platforms.
• Follows up manufacturing of electrical cabinets
• Interacts with suppliers and the procurement team to support quotations of electrical cabinets

To be a success in this role you will need;
• University Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Has strong competences using CAD software such as Eplan or WSCAD
• Has previous experience or wants to develop knowledge of 3D modelling for electrical equipment (solidworks)
• Knowledge about fabrication of electrical boards for power and control according to IEC standards
• Familiarity with industrial process control equipment
• Power user of IT collaboration platforms
• Produce high quality deliverables
• Structured, good time management, independent, good communication skills.
