Dyslexia Team Leader

Salary – £36,147

An exciting opportunity for a dedicated and strategic Dyslexia Team Leader has

arisen in one of the country’s largest Colleges. With a turnover of £65m annually, the

College Group services c.22,000 learners each year from a diverse variety of

backgrounds. With state-of-the-art facilities, Beacon status, Gold Investors in People

status and an excellent purpose-built estate across the city, the College is home to

ground breaking innovation and involved in a wide variety of exciting new

developments across the city and the wider educational landscape.

The role is accountable for providing high quality learning support to students who

have learning difficulties and/or disabilities and for effectively coordinating consistent

quality provision. The role holder will ensure the continued improvement of delivery

and effective development of provision through robust planning and effective team

coordination and to liaise with teaching staff to create an environment which enables

students to reach their full potential.

You must have experience in line management positions, preferably in education

and knowledge of research in this area and the ability to creatively apply theory to

enhance support to students who have dyslexia.
