DoubleVerify is searching for a strategic Director, Program Management with demonstrated history of successfully designing and building a program discipline to organize and coordinate programs and projects across the product team. In this role you will oversee the portfolio of projects within the product team and provide strategic and tactical guidance to individual product teams, and program and project managers.

What you’ll do:

    • Design and build the program and project functions within the product group
    • Define and implement program and project related standards, policies and procedures
    • Initiate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects in a complex and highly technical business environment
    • Evaluate and lead project managers and other team members in the delivery of projects
    • Define quantitative and qualitative measures that allow us to judge program performance and ROI
    • Provide leadership and direction for the program and project teams to ensure that time, risks, costs, quality and resources are balanced effectively, and our goals are being met and optimized
    • Develop and manage deadlines, budgets and project activities
    • Resolve projects high level scope issues
    • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and product leadership
    • Guide Program and Project Managers as they plan and oversee the detailed implementation of programs and projects against company, department and project goals
    • Demonstrate leadership and create an environment oriented to trust, accountability, open communication, creative thinking, and an “All In” team effort across departments
    • Work with product teams to develop and maintain product and program roadmaps
    • Coordinate with our other teams to ensure that roadmaps are accurate, easy-to-understand and aligned with our strengths, positioning and customer benefits
    • Ensure our product development programs are properly aligned and coordinated with minimal overhead
    • Provide input and feedback to the product teams to ensure that we are continually improving our processes
    • Mentor and coach Program and Project Managers to ensure that the the our values are being upheld and our customers are served
    • Critical to the success of the product area being worked on. Strongly influential on broader product team responsibility. Influential on company success.
    • Lead strategic initiatives with external stakeholders (vendors, partners, industry groups) Effectively collaborate with BD on strategic initiatives Collaborate on and communicate technical resourcing needs/strategy
    • Effectively prioritize all engineering and product tickets and bugs. Oversee the time management, prioritization and effectiveness of all team members.
    • Initiate and lead projects across the product/R&D org, Create a positive and pleasant work culture within the team, reach objectively good negotiation results, efficiently and while maintaining relationships, Facilitate learning from projects, initiatives and launches (post-mortems, etc.)



What you’ll bring:

    • 9+ years of proven experience as a program manager and leader of program and project teams
    • Deep understanding of the range of program and project management methods and techniques
    • Knowledge of and experience implementing
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Google Docs
    • Working knowledge of program and project management software (Monday, Jira, Confluence, etc.) is a strong advantage
    • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent problem-solving ability
    • Excellent leader
    • Experience in managing and coordinating across disciplines to increase the speed and efficiency of the delivery of our products to the market
    • STEM degree highly preferred
