Full-Time Director, Product Marketing

Job Description

The Director of Product Marketing for IAB Tech Lab is focused on increasing global awareness and adoption of Tech Lab and its technical standards and services portfolio, across the digital advertising and media industry. The role will partner with cross-functional teams to translate specific product capabilities into market-facing positioning and collateral materials. This individual will be responsible for providing the leadership of IABs in 47 countries with the tools and information they need to advance understanding of Tech Lab’s value propositions to their respective members.

Responsibilities, include but not limited to:

  • Communicate and collaborate directly with product and engineering teams to inform and develop technical product marketing materials for current and new releases
  • Create marketing materials to drive adoption of tech standards/services in markets around the world
  • Develop member success stories (awards, case studies, etc.)
  • Develop, customize, and execute product messaging and pricing, targeting specific business and technical audiences
  • Work closely with different stakeholders to gather market feedback and adjust materials and product positioning/pricing accordingly
  • Maintain market intelligence and understand the strengths and weaknesses of various Tech Lab initiatives, products, and services
  • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all technical marketing programs and activities
  • Provide support for field events and activation

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5-8 years working in a marketing role with at least 2+ years within Ad Tech/Media
  • BA/BS degree required; graduate degree preferred
  • A deep understanding of ad tech, technology marketing, mobile and video landscapes
  • Good knowledge of the media, data and privacy landscape
  • Must be a strong communicator, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different constituencies with sometimes competing interests
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Proven ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and project management skills with proven ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Takes ownership of programs; embracing both big picture objectives and follow-through on details
  • Strong aptitude for working with analytics and data, and turning those insights into compelling and actionable stories for marketers
