Job Description

MarshBerry is currently seeking a Director, Digital Marketing for our Beachwood, OH office or any of our other MarshBerry office locations.

The Director, Digital Marketing (DDM) will lead marketing initiatives from strategy development to implementation and ongoing performance/optimization.  The DDM will formulate the digital strategy to support brand equity, content distribution, and lead generation initiatives.  This person will be responsible for helping shape and drive our marketing automation strategy and execute programs to support client retention and new client sales.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Directing website strategy and managing day-to-day site enhancements and maintenance.
  • Organizing, planning and directing digital activities for the firm including managing SEO, SEM, display, content marketing, Retargeting, Email etc.
  • Creating end-to-end B2B niche market outbound and inbound lead nurturing and demand generation campaigns using marketing automation systems.
  • Coordinating digital marketing campaigns (including, applying segmentation, building landing pages, emails, newsletters, social) using marketing automation and CRM systems seamlessly.
  • Managing cross-channel client and prospect content strategy and distribution (email, digital, web, video, social etc.).
  • Using analytics and data visualization to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Providing entrepreneurial leadership to identify opportunities that will drive digital marketing and content distribution success.
  • Managing firm web site and collaborate on content management system, back-end databases, CRM system, and related technology components.
  • Managing and execute all contact management activities (alerts, newsletters, emails, etc.) with result statistics and impact reporting, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Helping to build a client-centric data-driven marketing culture by creating an ongoing feedback loop for insight sharing across internal teams and leadership.
  • Establishing metrics and performance indicators for digital marketing and make recommendations for continuous improvement including interpreting and organizing data to shape the strategy going forward.
  • Collaborating with stakeholder teams for the following:
    • Writing and design of campaigns and website modifications
    • Prioritization and timing of initiatives based on comprehensive communication plan
    • Integrated lead campaigns and tracking in CRM system
    • Thought leadership and content distribution
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications or related field.
  • Certified expert in HubSpot, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot or similar system preferred.
  • 7+ years hands on experience as a marketing automation platform architect, administrator and practitioner.
  • Deep knowledge in various performance marketing and demand generation channels (SEM, SEO, display, Content Marketing, Website, Retargeting, Email).
  • Must have experience using WordPress, HubSpot, Salesforce or similar systems, Google AdWords, LinkedIn Ads, and knowledge of related technologies.
  • Proficient in HTML.
  • A strong client service approach and team orientation.
  • Strong project and team management experience with attention to detail and a willingness. to “roll up sleeves” and operate at whatever level is needed to accomplish tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in marketing measurement and reporting.
  • Creative problem-solver who can manage multiple projects with ease and finesse.
  • Demonstrated Collaborative Skills and ability to challenge when needed.
  • Strong work ethic and personal accountability.
