Full-Time Director of Client Relations

Job Description

Blink is a leader in UX Research and Design working with exciting companies to create digital products, brands, and experiences. We are growing rapidly and are looking to add an experienced and passionate Director of Client Relations to our team.
Blink’s Client Relations team is a group of smart, driven, and innovative individuals addressing early to mature client requirements and establishing successful relationships.
The Director of Client Relations will focus on identifying and converting net new client relationships in a traditional “hunter” role and establishing relationships with decision-making leaders and executives within enterprise-level organizations. You’ll do this while collaborating with smart, passionate, and results-oriented Blink subject matter experts (UX researchers, designers, strategists) and continuing to stay on top of industry trends to bring in innovative and exciting opportunities that align with our consulting services.
A note about location: Blink supports a remote/hybrid work environment and does not require individuals to be in the office each day, but we are targeting individuals who can support sales growth in our key markets/locations including San Francisco, Seattle, San Diego, Boston, and New York.

What you’ll be doing:

    • Landing new clients, expanding relationships, and wallet share within those won clients.
    • Effectively communicating Blink’s Research & Design service offerings and value proposition to clients through compelling storytelling.
    • Creating and executing a business development plan, including formulating outreach plans, creating detailed account strategy plans, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Pitching and converting any reference or in-house generated opportunities.
    •  Executing sales contracts for won contracts and client engagements.
    • Achieving strong satisfaction scores with clients by engaging in consultative sellingAchieving quarterly and annual sales goals in support of the broader company sales goals each year.

What we are looking for:

    • 5-7+ years of successful business development and/or senior relationship management experience in Research, Design, and/or Development.
    • Experience developing new business with Enterprise clients and working through the contract and/or procurement systems.
    • Exceptional listening & verbal/written communication skills, specifically business writing skills.
    • Strong presentation skills
    • High-level strategic thinking and attention to the finest detail.
    • Proven ability to develop and execute a strategic sales plan.
    • Experience working on a national level.
    • Values-driven approach to customer service, with authenticity at the core.
    • Love of learning new capabilities and businesses quickly – moving at the speed of our clients.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal subject matter experts and other solution team members.
    • Deep appreciation for the value that user experience brings to an organization.
$165,000 – $200,000 a year
