This is a demanding position that is responsible for developing, managing, and driving the annual budgeting process, financial & capital forecasts and related analyses. This position oversees the development and delivery of related management reporting. Present financial results and variance analyses to business unit and executive management. Participates in key financial and strategic projects across all business departments as requested by the CEO, CFO & VP of Finance and Strategy. This position requires the ability to work autonomously on a wide range of projects across the company, and to lead projects working directly with senior level executives.

What you will do to contribute to the company’s success

Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial planning functions to assist in strategic business decisions.
Monitor and collect financial and operational data to assess accuracy and integrity of the information being presented to the leadership team.
Collect, organize and analyze financial results, and help to interpret these results.
Lead projects and analysis with the use of advanced financial and statistical modeling and reporting.
Forecasting the 3-year operational forecast and the 5-year capital forecast for Executive Team
Prepare the annual operational and capital budgets, working with Division staff, Corporate staff and System staff for budget consolidation, and individual and collective review.
Lead the Financial Steering Committee and participate in enterprise financial, profitability and M&A analysis.
Takes on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
This position is also responsible for the management of approximately 2 direct reports and a team of 8 associates.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college required
5-7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents required
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community required
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format required
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors required
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations required
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis required
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables required
Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving capabilities required
Excellent analytical skills required
Capable of assembling and delivering presentations to Executive-level teams required
