We’re seeking a tech savvy, experienced businessperson to help drive GoPro’s business and corporate development efforts, including partnering with the best companies in the world to enable new opportunities for our business and customers. The successful candidate will have experience leading cross-functional projects and deal making in the technology space, including product integration deals which require understanding of how software and hardware are built and interact, deals with multi-faceted business value exchange between companies, and corporate development deals,  and will be excited to apply these skills to a hybrid corporate/business development role at GoPro.  The position may be based at either of our California offices (San Mateo and Carlsbad), or remote from an office in the U.S. Pacific time zone. The position reports to the VP of Corporate and Business Development.



  • Develop and drive strategic Initiatives from ideation through execution, in collaboration with functional stakeholders and legal;
  • Build business cases to summarize and support Corporate and Business Development opportunities to facilitate decision-making;
  • Represent partner opportunities and discussions within cross-functional working groups;
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with GoPro strategic partners;
  • Facilitate partner outreach and discussions upon request from Product, Engineering and/or Marketing groups;
  • Regularly update GoPro executives on Business Development Strategic Initiatives and opportunities;
  • Quickly assess inbound opportunities in both business and corporate development ;
  • Represent GoPro, our brand and products, within the industry including at relevant industry events.

 Skills We’re Stoked About

  • Masters degree and/or MBA from top-tier schools;
  • 10 years of experience in technology companies, including at least 5 years in a business role which primarily involved deal-making (business development, corporate development, strategy);
  • Experience leading teams and strategic initiatives;
  • Experience presenting to, communicating with and reporting to C-level executives;
  • Experience in consumer technology products, particularly software and mobile app experience;
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and teams, and lead cross-functional initiatives and working groups, including GoPro Product, Marketing, Engineering, Subscription, Finance, Legal and other groups;
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, including business case modeling, market intelligence and opportunity assessment;
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills, but comfortable with ambiguity and adept at solving problems creatively;
  • Ability to juggle multiple initiatives and conversations while focusing on key priorities;
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex situations and opportunities.

Bonus Points

  • 3+ years Product Management experience in mobile applications;
  • 2+ years in Management Consulting working with technology company clients in software, hardware, and/or telco;
  • Knowledge of digital imaging, digital services and/or application markets;
