This Development Officer, Corporate Initiatives will be responsible for:

  • Stewarding current corporate partners and for increasing revenue through new business acquisition.
  • Working directly with the Director of Corporate Initiatives to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward corporate donors for Trust wide sponsorship programs.
  • Managing a prospect pool of companies capable of making substantial gifts. Initiating and managing all activity related to these prospects.
  • Orchestrating and executing phone calls, face to face visits, tours, effective solicitations, and related relationship building with corporate prospects to secure sponsorships.  Working with corporate contacts to identify and reach top decision makers, developing entrees and making contacts with executives in the position to direct corporate investment decisions, or marketing and community engagement teams to direct marketing or employee engagement dollars.
  • Developing and building effective working relationships with members of senior management, hospital staff and events aligned with the corporate sponsorship objectives.
  • Working with volunteer leadership who have connections and are interested in growing corporate support to identify, cultivate and successfully solicit prospective donor companies.
  • Writing, drafting and editing letters, proposals, reports, acknowledgements, briefings and donor correspondence for hospital and volunteer leadership when appropriate.
  • Working in a highly collaborative manner within and across Trust teams, particularly with other colleagues on Corporate Philanthropy, Cause Marketing, Events, and Major Gift Teams to coordinate activity and develop strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Developing revenue and expense projections to support assigned area.

To qualify, you must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in business administration, marketing, nonprofit management, fundraising or equivalent experience.
