Job Description

The role:

The Designer II, Art Direction will generate original design concepts and creative material for multiple Herbalife Nutrition audiences, including Distributors, Preferred Members, Customers and the general public. This role will develop conceptual creative design solutions across a variety of media channels (print, video, web): including print, collateral, packaging, environmental/signage, brand style guides, logo and identities, event materials, recognition items, advertising, social media, online graphics, and more.

The Designer will support the adaptation of the Herbalife Nutrition brand design principles and apply it to all materials. This person will bring standard methodologies within the industry to drive the Herbalife brand in collaboration with the creative team and the Director, WW Creative Services.

The Designer will work within an existing brand framework while continuing to be creative. This position requires a mid-level of familiarity with creative file standards, practices, and procedures related to content creation.

This position will report to the Director, WW Creative Services.

How you would contribute:

  • Generate outstanding content and creative ideas for campaigns and or deliverables in other mediums.
  • Lead all aspects of the design execution for Worldwide Creative, ensure consistent brand application across all channels (online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, interactive, marketing events and print) are consistent in terms of style and quality, and optimized to provide an industry-leading user experience.
  • Conceive, develop, align, art direct, and design concepts that fit into Brand/Distributor design principles
  • Ensure visual content is fresh, engaging and visually addresses strategy, meets the requirements of the creative brief, partner needs and reflects the company’s brand philosophy
  • Lead projects from inception through execution and print/posting/distribution
  • Ensure all requested edits are compiled, aligned and incorporated into materials in alignment with the Director and key partners
  • Support initiatives such as and storytelling on an ongoing basis as needed
  • Work with partners at all levels to refine requests and creative to ensure effective communications
  • Proofread creative materials, reviewing consistency, accuracy, and clarity
  • Partner with corporate and or regional teams to successfully activate ongoing and new business programs and promotions
  • Design Marketing, Event and Sales driven executions, for mediums such as print, web, social media, and environmental branding design items
  • Ensure the brand is followed across all touch points
  • Collaborate and conceptualize visual ideas and or campaigns with writers, other designers, and staff across multiple departments and functions
  • Bring industry standard methodologies into the department, and to the various regions and locales
  • Partner closely with team to carry out the creative vision, and understand the strategies and goals set by the Director
  • Integrate both copy and design into compelling solutions, recognizing and implementing hierarchy of communication
  • Drive the Herbalife brand across all design vehicles – packaging, advertising, facilities branding, brand style guides, and other requests
  • Ensure deadlines are always met, keep clear communication and manage expectations with managers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Skills and background required to be successful:


  • Strong creativity and originality in developing content and marketing concepts
  • Detailed and able to do their own production, adhering to department process standards
  • Ability to solve practical problems and prioritize workload for efficient process under general supervision
  • Effectively prioritize multiple projects to meet pitch deadlines and follow the trafficking, review, and approval process required
  • Comfortable working individually and within a collaborative and creative team framework
  • Strong time management and communication skills to multitask and manage projects with overlapping deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency with Macintosh hardware/software and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Expertise with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and proficiency with Outlook
  • Deep and broad knowledge across multiple communication vehicles: Internet, Print, Packaging, corporate ID, systems-based design, style guides, advertising, recognition items, and environmental design
  • Presentation development and delivery to senior executives


  • 5+ years hands-on design experience at an advertising agency, design firm, or in-house corporate art department


  • College degree (BS/BA or equivalent design degree)
  • May consider candidate with an additional 4 years of proven and demonstrable design experience industry in lieu of degree
