Full-Time Deployment Manager

The Deployment Manager of Business Services is responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the Deployment Coordinators engaged in overseeing multiple fiber optic installation projects. The position works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure Business Services’ needs and objectives are being met.

What you will do to contribute to the company’s success

Establishes the policies, procedures and practices of Deployment Coordinators while supporting continuous expansion and addressing new technologies and practices.
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders in order to develop team requirements and deliverable expectations.
Develops strong cross-functional relationships by collaboratively sharing relevant information openly and seeking appropriate input from other teams.
Ensures assigned projects are completed within budget and on schedule while meeting Business Services’ objectives.
Resolves project implementation conflicts and informs all stakeholders of impending risk implications.
Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training. Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred. Three to four years of supervisory experience preferred. Experience with project management, process improvement, vendor management, life cycle, and release management is preferred.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
The position requires up to 40% of travel.
Must possess superb attention to detail, and strong planning and organization skills with concern for quality and deadlines.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Working knowledge of Salesforce and TaskRay or other project management software preferred.
A strong understanding of fiber networks and telecommunications preferred.
