JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION

Works on integrations for Black Knight’s Ernst Fee Service product. Acts as a liaison between clients and developers and prepares data for conversion through data mapping and analyzing XML schemas.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzes client operations to understand and reconcile data transportation against Black Knight and industry standards
  • Analyzes data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, database and XML schema(s)
  • Develop and delivers innovative business solutions to our internal and external clients
  • Defines XML Schema and other data requirements in order to successfully exchange business process document data
  • Provides test planning and test case guidance to Quality Assurance to confirm the outcomes of the requirement changes meet the expectations of the business partners and clients.
  • Implement and perform Unit Testing on Data Mapping Logic to ensure it meets business needs
  • Researches business strategies and provide recommendations on best practices and changes in technology.
  • Provides training to the business partners and clients on changes to the technology.
  • Serves as an integral participant in the data governance process and resulting design and documentation as needed for new technology
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Understand the integrity of data, including data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Familiar with data standards/procedures and data governance and how the governance and data quality policies can be implemented in data integration projects
  • Expertise in analyzing and manipulating XML
  • Knowledge of Excel and CSV files
  • Knowledge of the mortgage, real estate and title industries preferred
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Contribute to significant client-facing reports, presentations, and other deliverables
  • Ability to provide white glove service to clients by translating technical terms into business terms
  • Experience in SQL or PL/SQL (or comparable language)
  • Ability to understand programming concepts
  • Must be very detail oriented
  • Experience in data integration projects

Data Integration Specialist IV

Expert professional role. Mastery-level technical and business expertise in multiple disciplines/processes. Develops data models and processes for data integration/data governance of high complexity within a broad technical and business context of significant or strategic impact. Works on varied, highly complex projects that require expertise in multiple technical environments and specific business area(s). Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in XML schema architecture, data management, data integration, data transformation, data warehousing, information strategy, and data governance. Recognized as an expert internally and often provides strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services. Works on multiple projects as a project team member or often as a project lead. May coach and/or mentor more junior technical staff. Typically requires ten (10) years of work experience in da ta governance, data extraction and relevant computing environments.

Although target pay range may vary by work location, a representative pay range for Colorado residents is: $95,000 – $135,000. Eligible to participate in medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and disability insurance, 401(k) plan and employee stock purchase plan. Eligible to participate in the discretionary annual performance bonus.
