Full-Time Data Integration Specialist

JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION

This position will be responsible for supporting the implementation, support, and integration of the Optimal Blue products and services. Integration Specialists will work with developers and business personnel from the Optimal Blue customer base and vast third-party vendor network. The main focus of the role is to assist customers using LOS integrations with Optimal Blue by providing creative problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting workflow and technical issues that arise. There will also be some assigned testing responsibilities. Mostly, these will utilize Stage and QA environments in preparation for upcoming releases. In addition, some testing necessary to assist in the implementation of new Optimal Blue integrations with various Loan Origination Systems (LOS), followed by supporting the customers utilizing the integration after the LOS goes live into production.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzes business partner’s operations to understand and reconcile data transportation against Black Knight and industry standards
  • Analyzes data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database and XML schema(s)
  • Develop and delivers innovative business solutions to our internal and external clients
  • Defines XML Schema and other data requirements in order to successfully exchange business process document data into our
  • Provides test planning and test case guidance to Quality Assurance to confirm the outcomes of the requirement changes meet the expectations of the business partners and clients.
  • Implement and perform Unit Testing on Data Mapping Logic to ensure it meets business needs
  • Researches business strategies and provide recommendations on best practices and changes in technology.
  • Provides training to the business partners and clients on changes to the technology.
  • Serves as an integral participant in the data governance process and resulting design and documentation as needed for new technology
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Experience debugging and supporting integrated software applications preferred
  • Experience with JSON and Postman preferred
  • Experience working with both technical and nontechnical customers explaining and supporting the implementation and troubleshooting process
  • Experience working in the mortgage industry highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Optimal Blue a plus

Data Integration Specialist I

Entry-level professional role into the job family. Supports data integration and data governance of low to moderate size and scope. Closely supervised under general direction of more senior data conversion specialists or supervisors. Conducts routine tasks as directed. Generally works on one project at a time as a project team member. Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in XML Schema architecture, data management, data integration, data warehousing, information strategy, and data governance. Typically requires up to three (3) years of work experience in data governance, data integration, data transformation and relevant computing environments.

Although target pay range may vary by work location, a representative pay range is: $60,000 to $72,000.
