Job Description

The Interactive Advertising Bureau’s Technology Laboratory (IAB Tech Lab) is seeking a Data Coordinator. The Data Coordinator is charged with upkeep of the Tech Lab Membership and Services data touchpoints. The role will ensuring timely data capture, data integrity, and movement of data through appropriate sales funnel pipelines captured in the CRM/Salesforce, Tech Lab tools portal. Data coordinator will also manage associated email communications to members. This role reports into the Director, Member Services and Events at IAB Tech Lab and assists in other data based ad hoc projects as needed within other systems that support the IAB Tech Lab.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist membership/sales and compliance services teams in:

  • Responding to inbound sales email inquiries
  • Responding to member email inquiries regarding work group participation/updates/changes
  • Replying to emails regarding IAB Tech Lab Tools inquires with correct templated responses
  • Creating the appropriate type of sales opportunities for email inquiries in the system, ensuring correct pricing and staging ratios  applied in database
  • Assisting membership/sales and compliance services teams with data processing of:
  • Capturing contact information from inbound email inquires
  • Membership agreements
  • Member Grids
  • Updating Compliance database
  • Updating Tech Lab Tools portal database as needed

 Supports team with data entry related to tracking events:

  •    Creating event shells
  •    Inputting attendance/registration/speakers/other event info as needed
  •    Day of event help: creating name badges, registration, event email inquiry

Supports Data integrity by:

  • Verifying CRM Rosters and other data match asynchronous tools used by Tech Lab (Slack Channels etc.)
  • Update contacts to CRM to “in transition” from bounced emails/auto replies from large email marketing sent
  • Willingness to learn Salesforce reporting/query generation and event/roster building.
  • Developing reports in CRM and other Tech Lab systems

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years of work experience
  • CRM database processing and sales funnel tracking
  • Excellent at multitasking and extremely well organized
  • Outstanding written communication skills, experience communicating with customers in writing
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Zoom, Google Docs, Salesforce
