Job Description

We are looking for an extroverted Customer Service Advisor to join our customer service engineering team specializing in electrified power & hydrogen generation applications and help to build premier service support model to deliver the required customer service in a timely and effective manner. This coordination & technical role sits within our new power business unit, based in Herten.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Supervise a team of service technicians who install, service, and repair electrified power and hydrogen generation equipment in Germany and other European locations.
• Mentor, coach, provide feedback and performance review to the team, and create opportunities for their professional growth.
• Coordinate and schedule the service technician’s work schedule, communicate repair plans to service technicians aligned with customer quotes, monitor their productivity and repair quality.
• Provide first level of support to service technicians requiring assistance, escalate technical support needs for resolution, assist with service logistics including use of materials, equipment, further resources by ensuring safety, quality and efficient operations.
• Monitor the status of open repairs with the service technicians, address issues that impact completion of the repair plan in the time quoted to customers.
• Develop diagnostic plans, analyse customer’s issues and assess their needs, oversee and manage technical escalations.
• Serve as a key customer contact to promote quality customer service, develop positive relationships with key customers and resolve customer concerns or any technical issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Must have German & English language knowledge on a professional level (both verbal & written).
• Engineering or technical education and previous experience working in a service technical or technical coordination role is required.
• Excellent communication & teamwork skills, flexible and goal-oriented way of working.
• Driving license and willingness to travel to visit customers up to 30%.
