Part-Time Corporate Relations Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION: The Corporate Relations Manager is a key member of the Advancement Team positioning Compass Housing Alliance to meet its annual fundraising goals. This position has lead responsibilities for the creation and management of a well-coordinated strategic plan to identify, cultivate, solicit, and secure support from corporations. All responsibilities are conducted in a manner consistent with the spirit of the agency mission and its philosophy of care.

LOCATION: Remote, with weekly meetings at Compass on Dexter building in South Lake Union (Seattle, WA)
REPORTS TO: Director of Advancement
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday days with occasional evenings and weekends as needed
SALARY RANGE: $29,000-$39,000 per year (Part-Time 20 hours per week)

QUALIFICATIONS
• Work experience is a key factor for success in this role. In addition, success in this role requires a passion for knowledge and drive for continuing professional development or education. A Bachelor’s degree in non-profit management or related field such a marketing, communications, public relations, or business or equivalent professional development is seen as a compliment to the required experience.
• A minimum of 5-years’ experience with progressive responsibility for fund development and/or corporate relationship management.
• Demonstrated record of success in generating significant commitments from corporations.
• Knowledge of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies and techniques, particularly in the area of corporate and foundation fundraising techniques.
• Demonstrated knowledge of methods, practices and procedures for obtaining information about corporate giving programs.
• Experience using nonprofit CRM database. Raiser’s Edge experience, desired.
• Awareness and/or training around issues of equity, intersectionality, and belonging.
• Familiarity with issues of homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, sexual assault, and/or domestic violence, desired.
• Valid WA driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a driving record that meets Compass standards, required.
