Job Description
The Coordinator, Officials Development is a regular full-time position reporting to the Director, Officials Development. The role contributes to all aspects of Officials Development programming and is primarily responsible for providing customer, administrative, and logistical support. Additional
hours may be required to include nights, weekends and holidays, especially during the event season. Cross departmental support is a general expectation of all USAV employees. The position is located in Colorado Springs, Co.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
• Organize and support all officials’ training and educational programs for all disciplines (indoor, beach and sitting).
• Manage officials’ registrations for the four national Championships and National Team Development Program Championships.
o Select and secure officials for National championship – ensure all credentials are met.
o Develop national event pre-tournament materials.
• Audit and update records in USAV’s Member Management System for national certification requirements and national clinic attendees and candidates for Officials Development sites.
• Responsible for the distribution and payment of for officials and associated independent contractors for all disciplines.
• Work with USAV Housing partner to secure housing for officials at national events.
• Research travel costs and submit Travel Authorizations, as needed.
• Allocate VIK for officials and associated independent contractors at national events
• Responsible for coordination of official’s event logistics to include pricing, packing and shipping supplies to clinics, camps and national events.
• Assist officials and associated independent contractors with logistics, materials and record keeping at development sites for all disciplines.
• Collaborate with Communications and E-Learning staff for all official’s training, educational, exams and development materials for all disciplines.
• Contribute to content and assist with the publication of the Officials Newsletter.
• Work with arbitrators and other constituents to update and maintain officials case books.
• Support Officials Assembly and Commissions as needed.
• Coordinate all Beach officials programming aspects with associated independent contractors.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in sport management, business administration, related degree or equivalent
work experience.
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience.
• Volleyball and/or officiating experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Suite and social media programs.
• Possess excellent written, verbal and organizational skills with an attention to detail.
• Must be able to comfortably lift and transport up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to staff, partners and customers of USAV.
• Ability to work independently or on a team and be able to prioritize competing tasks.
• Must successfully pass a USAV background screening (prior to hire date).
• Must successfully complete SafeSport training within two weeks of hire date.

Salary: $18.50/hr.
