Job Description



Group Nine Media is seeking a Creative Operations Coordinator for our New York office. The Creative Operations Coordinator will manage resourcing and facilitate timeline approvals for our design teams. The Creative Operations Coordinator will also support the Senior Manager, Creative Operations on other initiatives, including but not limited to providing operational support on select projects and improving process and workflow.

Core duties and responsibilities

  • Manage the intake of creative briefs and translate them into optimized schedules for the design team
  • Proactively manage team bandwidth. Flag and provide solutions when bandwidth is forecasted to exceed reasonable expectations
  • Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing
  • Provide guidance to project requesters when developing project timelines and approach. This includes providing insight into the lead time needed to complete the project and recommending innovative solutions for delivering assets efficiently
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager, Creative Operations to continuously improve the overall creative process
  • Partner with Senior Manager, Creative Operations to provide operational support outside of resourcing for designated projects
  • Support the Creative Operations team with administrative tasks


Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years experience in project management, creative resourcing, account management, or design management at an agency or studio
  • Thorough understanding of creative processes and content creation, from brief to delivery
  • Collaborator and resourceful problem solver
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong prioritization skills with ability to champion creative team to produce high-quality deliverables on time
  • Experience managing a high volume of workstreams 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced media environment
  • Experience using Google Suite, Wrike, Airtable, or other project management tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite a plus


Working conditions

Occasional evening and weekend work required as needed. Must be able to work remotely, with the flexibility to work on site in the future.



Flat Rate: $200/Day
