Contractor: Content & Community Associate 

TITLE: Contractor: Content & Community Associate

HOURS: Part-Time, ~20 Hours/Week

DURATION: September 1, 2020 – January 31, 2021 (21 weeks)

LOCATION: Brooklyn, New York or Remote*

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Marketing

*Due to COVID-19, BioLite is currently in a remote digital working environment. The health and safety of our team remains our #1 focus on any reopening plan. As protocols evolve, we will communicate clearly with transition timelines. The option of a fully remote position is available regardless of office reopening.

 

BioLite is looking for a motivated self-starter to temporarily join our Marketing Team while our Content & Community Manager is on maternity leave.

You will focus on the following areas:

Content & Community Development

  • Social Media Management – Manage our content pipeline through social media channels, optimizing content per platform. Schedule regular content across main channels and engage with the social community to foster loyalty, excitement, and word of mouth. Support Customer Service team with managing social media inboxes during launches and the holiday season.
  • Holiday Campaign – Support in content creation, scheduling, and management across email, social, and blog during the launch of our annual holiday campaign celebrating BioLite’s work in emerging markets.
  • Partner & Influencer Coordination – Maintain warm relationships with our network of brand ambassadors, content creators, and community members. Develop creative briefs to collect and organize lifestyle assets for upcoming Spring 2021 launch. Manage ambassador product seeding.

Logistical, Administrative, & Analytical Support

  • Affiliate & Pro Network Support – Manage regular communications with our Affiliate Network & Pro Community through email outreach and overall community maintenance.
  • E-Commerce Team Support – Work with our Digital Growth Lead to schedule social content that aligns with the holiday promotional calendar. Provide back-end website support during sales.
  • Website Updates– Ensure that website is up-to-date in content areas including blog, FAQs, press, and news.
  • Campaign Reports – Debrief on campaigns, using data and goals to highlight successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

 

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or other related field.
  • Experience in social media content production and engagement with knowledge of successful campaign creation and management.
  • Experience in multimedia content creation across digital channels.
  • Experience in partnership management (i.e. influencers, sponsorships).
  • Excellent project management skills with and the ability to manage multiple projects, people, and deadlines.
  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to create a story from conception through execution.
  • Imagination and creative problem solving skills; you know what makes for a good story and you find the resources to create it.
  • Basic knowledge of social scheduling and analytics platforms for tracking user engagement (Later, Instagram, Facebook, and Google Analytics).
  • Experience with team workflow tools (Asana, Trello) is a bonus.
