Position Overview

In light of the current lack of personnel to perform Provider Relations functions in Region 2, and the work volume it has created, the duties of the PSC will focus on providing support by managing assigned program contracts, and assist providers by offering technical assistance  to help them meet contract deliverables and meet performance measures established.

 

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provides oversight and monitors contracts and grants allocated to mental health providers within designated geographical areas.
  2. Works with MH providers to ensure timely submission of quarterly reports based on contracts and grants awarded. Will provide technical assistance as needed to providers. Will enter in the CSA system any pertinent information regarding budget updates, revisions, and amendments , as needed.
  3. Will review and approve  form providers, on a quarterly basis the submission of invoices, performance measures, and deliverables, and forward to the DMH fiscal office on a timely basis.
  4. Will conduct visits to providers as needed and offer technical assistance and support with administrative and clinical guidelines as outlined in DMH Rule 132.
  5. Will assist in the planning  and delivery of regional meetings with providers,  participate in pertinent meetings as scheduled and monthly supervision with Supervisor.

 

Conditions of Employment

  1. Requires ability to pass the IDHS background check.
  2. Requires ability to pass a drug screen for drugs prohibited from recreational use under Illinois Law.
  3. Requires the ability to meet all agency vaccine/health-related policies and guidance.
  4. Requires experience with DMH provider network.
  5. Requires experience navigating DMH CSA system and entering budget and contract information.
  6. Requires solid interpersonal and communication experience working with a variety of stakeholders.
  7. Requires experience working with DMH Rule 132 administrative.

How to Apply

Minimum Qualifications
  1. Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with courses in Social Services, Behavioral Health or a related area.
  2. Requires five (5) years experience in Provider Relations/Grant and Contract Management.
