Our team is continually growing, creating, and succeeding. We’re now looking for a highly creative and multi-disciplinary Content Strategist who is passionate about delivering quality communication solutions and successful client outcomes.

You’ll be joining a super talented, fully integrated team of professionals, all of whom are specialists in their own discipline and enjoy working collaboratively to bring each client vision to life. You’ll work across a range of digital, email, and social projects and will confidently own all stages of the content life cycle, including research, strategizing, ideation, and copywriting.

At Redstart Creative, we value diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment where we can push the boundaries of perspective and think bigger. As such, we strongly encourage candidates from underrepresented communities to apply.

  • Write, edit, and proof across a number of marketing, branding, and design projects
  • Create compelling, useful, and strategically valuable content for our clients, including high-performing Google ads copy, sales/proposal copy, and direct mail fundraising communications
  • Lead the brand messaging process for our clients, including authoring clear copy that aligns with their voice and tone, drives traffic, and appeals to each target audience segment
  • Craft successful conversion-focused copy, including copy for sales pages, email campaigns, website copy, and more
  • Develop engaging content for EDM campaigns, blog posts, social media campaigns, and more, in line with content strategy and client objectives.
  • Contribute to the company blog as required
  • This role may be asked to perform other duties as required by business needs

  • You have 3+ years’ experience in writing, editing, and managing content across multiple channels and multiple audiences/personas, as well as tracking key metrics and performance to analyze what is and isn’t working.
  • You’re a natural storyteller and a master of language and wordplay, with a knack for crafting killer content across social, print, digital, and email outlets. You can write powerful, clear, and compelling content that meets a variety of project deliverables, including engaging readers, driving traffic, and converting customers.
  • You have a keen understanding of how your words perform in search, and you appreciate the value of A/B testing, analytics, and SEO.
  • You’re comfortable working as part of a highly collaborative team to accomplish shared goals, but you’re also a self-starter who can work independently to deliver proactive and reactive work.
  • You have excellent time management skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects amidst conflicting client demands and deadlines.
  • You’re a versatile writer who understands the difference between content writing and copywriting and can shift between the two. Plus, you’re able to flex easily between digital, print, and social channels.
  • You’re forward-thinking and always ready to seek out and action feedback, embrace change, and initiate new solutions.
  • You’re able to understand a brand’s missions, goals, and target audience, plus any pain points and problems. You can quickly absorb the intricacies of style guides and easily incorporate the nuances of brand voice into your work to hit the desired outcomes.
  • You take a big-picture approach to content and appreciate the role copy plays in a broader content strategy. You have the confidence to make strategic recommendations and can plan and implement how integrated messaging, copy, and visuals combine to tell powerful stories that resonate with the target audience.
  • Lastly, you’ll have a forensic eye for detail and a dedication to your craft, never letting a spelling, punctuation, or grammatical error slip by.
