Salary: This position is a salaried, exempt position with a full benefits package. The salary ranges from $74,080 – $84,669.

The City of Oshkosh Public Works Department is hiring a Construction Management Supervisor.  The Construction Management Supervisor directs and coordinates the work of the Engineering Division construction/field staff. Work will include assigning job duties, reviewing design plans for constructability, managing and overseeing the construction of public works projects managed by the Engineering Division, and coordinating and communicating with the general public and private utility companies.

The ideal Construction Management Supervisor will have knowledge of the principles and practices of civil and municipal engineering as well as knowledge of land and engineering survey methods and techniques.  A strong candidate will possess well developed communication skills, strong critical thinking skills, be adept at time management, and be someone who can successfully and positively guide a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an accredited school with a minimum of five years of municipal engineering experience; supervisory experience preferred, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management with a minimum of five years of municipal or utility construction experience; supervisory experience preferred, OR
• Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering Technology with a minimum of ten years of municipal or utility construction experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license upon employment.
