Benefex – Posted by Catherinehayes Hampshire, England, United Kingdom

Job Description

Are you a Communications Consultant with a creative heart? Do you love working with customers, developing inspiring communications and campaigns? Relish in helping employees understand the world of online benefits, from pensions to financial wellbeing and more?

We are Benefex, a technology business in the heart of Southampton enjoying a period of rapid growth. As part of this growth, we need to strengthen our Communications team… which is where you come in.

How do you know if this is the vacancy for you? Well, read on to see exactly what it is that we’re looking for.

As a Communications Consultant your role will be varied, from pitching to potential customers to developing reward brands. Reporting into our Head of Communications, your main responsibilities will be to create communication strategies and oversee the delivery of your projects through the Communications team. You’ll be responsible for a portfolio of new customers, onboarding them and their employees on to our technology, and long-standing customers, supporting them to develop their reward and benefit schemes.

You’ll work closely with a team of Project Managers and Benefit Consultants to come up with the right solutions to meet the needs of your customers, and our team of expert designers and copywriters who will bring your strategy to life. We support our brilliant portfolio of customers when it comes to communicating with their employees. Whether that’s informing them about annual benefits selection or helping them to maximise the employee experience for everyone who works for them – you name it, we’ll communicate about it.

You’ll have proven success managing customers and growing revenue with the capability of delivering exceptional pitches to inspire confidence and commitment. Plus, you’ll have a good understanding of strategic communication campaigns and the digital industry. Ideally, you will have worked within internal communications, or understand the role it plays in an organisation. You will be used to working at pace and supporting a variety of customers, with an agility to the way you work and the teams and resource you need to bring everything together to make things happen. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-moving and occasionally pressurised environment, and will be able to demonstrate high levels of autonomy and ability to just get on and get the job done.

In return, you’ll get to work somewhere truly amazing. As a business, we’re passionate about the employee experience. That’s not just the employee experience of our customers’ employees, but the experience of every single person who works for us, too. You’ll be joining a creative, and collaborative Communications team, work with some great logos, and have interesting challenges every single day.

Sound like the role for you? If so, please get in touch, as we’re looking to recruit into this position as quickly as possible.
