Clerk & Governance Advisor 

£47,302 – £48,317 per annum, pro rata 

22 hours per week 

(Flexible approach to working hours and term time working considered) 

52 weeks per annum

We are looking to appoint a Clerk and Governance Advisor to provide advisory, strategic and administrative support to the governing body and to ensure the proper and efficient conduct of Corporation business as well as promoting excellence in College governance. 

You will be pro-active and able to be strategic in your thinking. You must be a trustworthy and diplomatic individual, with the capacity to develop an understanding of legislation and public policy as it relates to governance in FE and the ability to use this knowledge in order to advise and inspire confidence. Legal experience or qualifications are not essential, but this role may suit someone with a background in this field or someone who has previous experience as a Company Secretary or Clerk.
