At Neighborcare Health, we believe everyone deserves a place to call their health care home, where a team of medical, dental and mental health professionals work in collaboration with each patient to develop a personal health improvement plan. We are the largest provider of primary medical, dental and behavioral health care services in the Seattle area serving low-income and uninsured families and individuals, seniors on fixed incomes, immigrants and people experiencing homelessness. Each year we care for about 71,000 patients at our nearly 30 non-profit medical, dental and school-based clinics.

We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking visionary to lead Neighborcare Health into the future. The CEO must have a strong interest in developing innovative care models and the foresight to pivot where needed as the landscape of community health changes. The ability to clearly communicate a vision, inspire employees and effectively lead change are critical. What you’ll do:

  • Champion Neighborcare’s deep commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans, including defining goals and mission, services, quality and budget.
  • Guide leaders so that they work together effectively in support of the mission and goals of Neighborcare.

  • Lead Neighborcare with humility, compassion and integrity.
  • Maintain a strong external presence and embody the spirit and brand of the organization.

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years’ experience in leadership positions in primary health care organization.
  • Senior level leadership in an FQHC or community health organization strongly preferred.
  • Visionary leader capable of developing organization goals aligned to the Mission and Vision of NCH.
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for working with culturally, socioeconomic and ethnically diverse populations – both patients and staff.
  • Ability to effectively support strategic planning, human resources, EDI, marketing, development, compliance and financial management through decision making, problem solving and analysis.
  • Proven success leading change management efforts while functioning effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment with multiple priorities and objectives.
  • Demonstrated achievements in the development of creative and collaborative partnerships with funders and other community partners.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing effective, community-based, integrated health care that meets the unique needs of this population.
