JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION
Manages a team of Business Systems Analysts who are responsible for partnering with internal and external clients to develop, implement, and resolve operational solutions for clients. Provides technical analysis, communicates and validates business/use r requirements for processes, policies and information systems. Responsible for ensuring the team translates business needs/end-user requirements into functional specifications that describe what the system, process or product/service must do to fulfill the end-user/business requirements.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provides oversight in the analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
* Analyzes marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, and vendor products and services, etc.
* Assigns and monitors the work of the team, providing technical and analytical support and direction.
* Interfaces with external clients or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.
* May manage small projects or sub-projects.
* May train internal employees or external clients on changes, new systems or new procedures.
* Conducts one-on-one or classroom training depending upon the size or desire of the audience.
* Mentors, guides, advises and/or checks the work of less experienced Business Systems Analysts.
* Collaborates with the development team, QA team, and others on implementations and business processes
* Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) methodologies and processes such as object-oriented programming, enterprise-wide content and data distribution using common databases and data standards implemented with the Extensible Markup Language (XML), middleware applications and message queuing approaches
* Experience working with development technologies
* Experience building and supporting applications
* Experience working with querying and using sql server databases
* Strong XML experience
* Knowledge of the design and implementation of enterprise workflow systems and distributed architectures
* Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Ability to develop partnership-oriented relationships with business executives and functional leaders, especially as it relates to operations and technology
* Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communications with peers and business users alike
* Experience with project management
* Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within Black Knight or outside the organization (executives, regulators, clients, etc.)
* Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units
* Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience that is required for the specific job level.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Knowledge of Black Knight products and services
* Knowledge of financial services industry
* Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development)
* Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines through Unified Modeling Language (UML), use cases, etc.
* Expertise in XML, XML Transformation, XML Schema
* Proficiency in escalating priority decisions
* Support other professionals throughout the lifecycle of projects
* MISMO experience preferred
* Demonstrated ability to effectively complete budget preparation, cost management
* Ability to proactively address difficult issues and effectively handle demanding or upset clients
* Ability to effectively allocate resources to available finances and workforce to meet the plan
* Ability to drive a flexible staffing model capable of reacting quickly to fluctuations in demand
* Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)
* Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources

* Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
* Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed

A middle-level management role with no additional job levels. Resolves issues and contributes to business/user requirements. Directly responsible for managing a staff of four or more direct reports, including supervisors and individual contributors. Works closely with senior management on departmental issues. Has wide latitude for decision-making. Typically requires six (6) or more years of related experience with at least two (2) years of leadership responsibility.
