Full-Time Business Sales Manager

Job Description

Sparklight’s Business Sales Managers have a positive effect on our company’s success. As a Business Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the success of the Sales Team by developing each associate to be successful in their role. You will be responsible for budgeting, financial forecasting, and managing capital expenditures while maintaining a meaningful connection with Sparklight’s leadership teams.

What You Will Do: 

  • Motivating your team and tracking performance goals. You will also develop and train the associates on your team who do need assistance meeting goals.
  • Creating budgets and financial forecasting.
  • Providing excellent customer service and jumping in on sales calls, when needed.
  • Collaborating with other teams to achieve local and company goals.
  • Your team will consist of up to 9 talented Business Sales associates. You will be responsible for guiding your team’s growth by interviewing and hiring new team members.
  • Assigning and directing tasks to your team in addition to appraising performance, addressing associates’ concerns, and rewarding the associates who are doing well.

What You Will Need for This Opportunity:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The ability to read and analyze financial and legal documents.
  • Experience in providing high-level customer service.
  • Presentation and communication skills to effectively present our services to customers or new processes to our Sales Team.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • This position requires 25% business travel.
  • Experience in sales and leading a sales team, is desired.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
